[LEARNING THROUGH PLAY, AT ALL AGES!]

BUENOS AIRES – Our visit to the kids and coaches of Inter Campus in Argentina has recently come to a close after it took place in Puerto Iguazú and Buenos Aires.

For the first time since the project started in Puerto Iguazú, at a school in Barrio Primero de Mayo, a technical course took place for physical education teachers, and also some from other institutions. The Coordinator for Physical Education in Misiones was also present, to whom we owe our gratitude for allowing the teachers to participate in our full training course.

Through theoretical and practical sessions, coaches Gabriele Raspelli and Gianluca Baschieri both shared the Inter Campus methodology with the locals and also proposed a number of exercises focused on technical gests related to the personality development of the kids.

These exercises were demonstrated out on the training pitch, interacting with those young and old. Like they were children again for a few hours, the teachers experimented on theirselves the suggested training sessions, and understood how through fun one can improve learning and keep attention levels high.

The Inter Campus delegation then headed to Remedios de Escalada, close to Buenos Aires, where they met with kids from the Pupi Foundation. It is here where around 70 youngsters are constantly playing football, with the foundation using this as a tool to keep children away from drugs, crime, violence and other risks that they’re potentially exposed to.
