INTER CAMPUS BULGARIA: A PARTY FOR EVERYONE AND A NEW CENTRE OPENS

School in Nowo Selo becomes part of the project and takes part in the fun tournament open to all Inter Campus Bulgaria kids

SOFIA – The Inter Campus team have come back from Bulgaria where their work in Troyan continues. The project owes a great deal to local partner the Stefano Noykov Foundation, the help of coordinator Yordanka Yaneva and the work of Mitko and Vladi: the latter pair have proven to be excellent coaches and educators at the centres in Troyan and Vebrevo, fully grasping the positive, social spirit of Inter Campus.

The visit represented the chance to officially open the new Inter Campus centre in the school at Nowo Selo, where around 50 children are registered, many of whom have psychomotor learning difficulties. While we wait for the project to develop further, around twenty kids will be fully involved in Inter Campus activities, thanks to the sporting and social skills of Toshu, a local PE teacher and the centre’s head.

A tournament was organised over the course of a day for the children from all the Inter Campus centres in the country (Troyan, Vebrevo, Separeva Bania, Bania and Nowo Selevo) and they had the opportunity to get to know one another better and share their love for football and the Nerazzurri.
