[INTER CAMPUS AND THE UEFA FOUNDATION WORKING TOGETHER TO SAFEGUARD CHILDREN’S RIGHTS]

MILAN – After the interviews with Daniele Adani and Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, Carine N’Koué, Project Manager for the UEFA Foundation for Children, became the latest figure to speak to Inter Campus via Instagram. Carine looked back at the work that the two organisations have done together since 2016, when they joined forces to facilitate integration and peace processes in Israel and Palestine. He noted that “given the importance of its social objective, it’s a worthwhile project and one which doesn’t just involve children but many local helpers too. It continues to be carried out concretely on pitches every single day.”

In 2019, the partnership was strengthened when Inter Campus and the UEFA foundation started a new collaboration in Venezuela, where the political and social instability of the past few years has made it even more important to support local communities. Carine added that the “UEFA Foundation is committed to combatting all discrimination, just as Inter Campus has been doing for so many years.”

The interview concluded with a discussion on the latest partnership agreement between the two organisations. Formalised this year, it will involve all of Inter Campus’ sub-Saharan African partners (in Angola, Cameroon, Congo and Uganda), allowing delegations from each of these countries to participate in itinerant training weeks coordinated by the Inter Campus staff.

This is a successful partnership that continues to deepen year after year. Inter Campus and the UEFA Foundation: working together to safeguard children’s rights since 2016.
