RANOCCHIA AND ANSALDI WITH INTER CAMPUS USA

INWOOD – It seemed like an ordinary day like any other at the park where the Inter Campus kids play every morning, but none of them knew something unique was in store for them.

As usual, training got started at 09:00 under a fierce heat. Towards lunch, the youngsters were treated to their first surprise: Andrea Ranocchia, Cristian Ansaldi, Andrea Pinamonti and Primavera captain Fabio Della Giovanna turned up at the training ground.

It only took a few seconds for the children’s concentration on training to give way to the excitement of meeting the stars in the flesh.

After the initial introductions, it was time to get back down to work and the four Nerazzurri were happy to get involved too. The exercises themselves didn’t change, but passing to Ranocchia, doing keepy-ups with Ansaldi and playing two-on-two with Pinamonti and Della Giovanna became that little bit more special.

That wasn’t it for the surprises, however. The players also brought the official shirts and shorts for the new season. If receiving the Inter kit as a gift every year is a source of great joy, being presented with it by actual Inter players is even more memorable. It helped the kids feel important and part of a worldwide project that brings together thousands of children in one Nerazzurri family.

There were numerous other visitors at the training ground taking everything in as well, such as representatives from Pirelli USA who back the project in New York and countless parents who wanted to be with their kids on this happy day.
