INTER CAMPUS AND SUNING, AN EVER-GROWING PARTNERSHIP

A delegation from Inter Campus has just returned from China, where, together with Suning and the Amity Foundation, they took part in an event celebrating the beginning of a new year for Football 1+1. This is a project run by Suning which focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility and which provides 25 Chinese schools with sports equipment and technical training.

Inter Campus’s involvement in the project comes in the form of donating Nerazzurri kits to 400 children and offering training to coaches/instructors at these schools, all of whom have decided to embrace the philosophy of Inter Campus.

This event was followed by a two-day technical course which was run by Inter Campus staff for 80 local coaches and instructors. This involved working on the pitch and also doing some theoretical work with our coaches.

Inter Campus’s trip to China finished in Shanghai, where the delegation paid a visit to Jing Ding School in the Putuo District. Our partnership with this school, which is predominantly attended by children of workers who have moved to Shanghai from rural areas of the country, is now entering its fifth year.
