[LOOKING TO THE FUTURE!]

On 23 August 2013, the UN General Assembly decided to proclaim 6 April as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. This designation recognises sport as a powerful agent in leading social change, community development and the promotion of peace and understanding.

Sport as an instrument of peace and how it links disparate peoples. Throughout the world today, it is celebrated in memory of the sport of the first Olympic Games of the modern era, held in Athens in 1896.

The difficulties facing children worldwide today have become even more acute, so it is even more important to use sport as a means of sharing, play, growth, education and that is exactly what Inter Campus has done throughout the past year and will continue to do, looking to the future with the ambitious eyes of this young girl from the Zapatista community.
