MILAN – Inter Campus officials Alberto Giacomini and Massimo Seregni recently paid their first visit of 2008 to the project in Morocco.

From 25 January to 1 February the two officials worked with Raja Casablanca Football Club in needy districts El Fida’a and Sidi Moumin.

The 100 children enrolled with the IC Morocco project took part in a training session with the local coaches and instructors, to the delight of all the local children who were amazed to see Inter at work on their dusty pitch.

Giacomini and Seregni were approached by many parents, who, as former emigrants to Italy, asked for information in Italian. The next step in the project will be to organise a football tournament for the children who live in these disadvantaged areas.

The Inter Campus project in Morocco was launched three years ago in collaboration with Milanese charity association Soleterre.
