TREVISO – For the third year in a row, Inter Campus is set to take part in the Master’s in strategies for business in sport – SBS, which was developed from the collaboration between Verde Sport, Ca’ Foscari University Venice and Ca’ Foscari Challenge School.
During the course, the students will handle topics such as management within sport, including marketing, communication, innovation, event development and the notion of legacy. More resources are dedicated to sustainability, in reference to the role of social responsibility and human rights for strategies in a sector that is expanding at present.
Sport must be a right for everyone and at the same time, it can serve as a facilitator so that other global challenges can be met, such as achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
While the Winter Olympics in Beijing are on the horizon, the subsequent edition will be staged in Milan and Cortina in 2026, the World Ski Championships 2021 was recently hosted by Italy and World Cup 2022 in Qatar is approaching, making it a good time to discuss the roles of clubs, football associations and institutions in coming up with new ideas and good practices that champion inclusion and equal opportunities. This is not purely of benefit to the athletes, but for the entire sector and host city and country.
