LONDON – “Fair Play”, that is Football for Adolescent to Increase Resiliency a Program for Life skills And Youth, this is the name of the program that involved five European clubs in London, under the guidance of the University of Rotterdam, to explore issues such as life skills and resilience in the sports-educational field.
Inter Campus, Charlton Community Trust, Feyenoord Foundation, Werder Bremen and Hibernian Community Foundation have launched the three-year co-funded project by the European Union. The activity will include theoretical European meetings and practical application in the social responsibility programs of each club.
The first meeting focused on the concept of optimism in sport, on setting goals and on leadership skills. For Inter Campus, the reference country for the development of the program and the related impact measurement will be Uganda where the project has been active since 2008.
