INTER CAMPUS IN EASTERN EUROPE

The humanitarian crisis currently hitting Europe has been particularly hard for some of the countries where Inter Campus has a base. In Romania, Poland and Hungary, local partners immediately came together and spontaneously made themselves available to provide support and welcome people who needed help.

This is the case of the Jadwiga Association in Krakow, Poland, who for the last couple of days have welcomed Ukrainian families, mostly women and children. Some kids have already pulled on the Nerazzurri jersey and taken part in sports activities. A moment of calm and comfort at a difficult time.

Other initiatives are taking a different, but no less important, approach to solidarity. The Love is the Answer Association and Inima Pentru Inima Foundation, partners of Inter Campus Hungary and Inter Campus Romania respectively, have been collecting and distributing basic humanitarian necessities such as blankets, food and medicine to refugees.

Such initiatives go beyond the set sporting agenda but their importance at this moment in time is simply essential.
