Celebrations to welcome sixty new children to humanitarian programme on Caribbean island

HAVANA – One hundred and twenty children wore their brand new Inter shirts today at a parade held at the Cuba Football Association’s (AFC) sports facility.

The event, staged to celebrate the sixty children who will attend the new Inter Campus centre in Havana, was attended by sixty other children from the eastern provinces of Las Tunas, Granma and Holguin – all involved in the Inter Campus project since 2005.

Also in attendance were representatives of Inter Campus’ partner associations on the island: the AFC, the Cuban Ministry for Foreign Investment and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
