MILAN – Inter have further boosted their commitment to young people involved in projects all over the world. Inter Academy and Inter Campus have launched the Inter Calling Kids initiative, which offers young Nerazzurri the chance to meet legends of the Club.
Children from Inter Academy Toronto got the project up and running on 29 June as they spent the afternoon in the (virtual) company of Cristian Chivu. This week Javier Zanetti made a video-call with kids from Inter Academy and Inter Campus programmes in Argentina, while further meetings will be held over the coming weeks with youngsters from the club’s international projects in other countries, involving around 300 boys and girls in all.
The aim of Inter Calling Kids is to maintain Inter’s bond with children from the two programmes during the global coronavirus emergency, when they are unable to train. It also helps to strengthen links between Inter Academy and Inter Campus. The initiative is part of a series of activities that Inter Academy is running for its partners around the world and provides Inter Campus with the opportunity to add valuable experience to its weekly educational programmes.
