IC Lebanon reopens in south of country

Projects back up and running in villages of Tibnine, Ma’araka and Borj Al Shmali

MILAN – Despite the state of alert right on the border, the Inter Campus Lebanon organising committee officially reopened its projects in the south of the Middle Eastern country on 9 June 2007. Following the changing of the guard among the UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) troops, with brigadier Maurizio Fioravante now at the command of the Italian Joint Task Force, the Inter Campus projects in the villages of Tibnine, Ma’araka and Borj Al Shmali, which involve 100 children and a staff of Lebanese and Italian instructors, are back up and running.
