MILAN – Inter Campus Bosnia-Herzegovina celebrates ten years of collaboration in favour of children with its new programme Football With No Limits. The new programme was unveiled by local coordinator Predrag Pasic and Inter Campus technical area director and organisational responsible Aldo Montinaro, who travelled to Sarajevo for the occasion.

Football With No Limits will involve 90 children from the Cantonal Center for Social Work Association in Sarajevo who will be placed in the youngest teams of Beta Klub Bubamara, a historic affiliate of Inter Campus.

All the children, aged 6-14, live in delicate family situations. Some have been abandoned by their parents, while others suffer the consequences of extreme poverty and domestic violence.

The Cantonal Center’s director Mirsada Poturkovic, who was visibly emotional during the opening ceremony, will be able to count on the help of the Sarajevo local authorities in the person of Nenad Markovic, the sports councillor and former basketball star who has made available two buses to take the children to and from the sports centre.

For children up to the age of 10 there will be three sessions per week. Instead, the older ones will train daily.

“As is the tradition of Inter Campus, the effects of sports activity on the family and schooling environment will be monitored periodically, but looking at the smiles of these kids during their first training session and when the Inter shirts were handed out, we’re very hopeful,” commented Aldo Montinaro.
