[An evening with Inter Campus]

MILAN – It was a special evening for the Nerazzurri family tonight as Inter Campus organised a fundraising event for Missione Possibile, its partner in Cambodia. “Change One Life, Change the World” was held at Palazzo Valextra in Milan’s Via Manzoni, with Inter players Fredy Guarin and Jeison Murillo there to represent the first team and even take part in the auction, organised by Christie’s in collaboration with Charity Stars.

Some of the one-off pieces up for auction included a pair of Samir Handanovic’s gloves, a shirt worn by Gary Medel and a pair of Guarin’s boots, while there were also unique experiences up for grabs such as a training session in Appiano Gentile in the company of Javier Zanetti and the chance for a child to walk out at San Siro as a mascot.

Inter Campus president Carlotta Moratti began the evening by thanking all of the initiative’s partners: “Thank you for being here for this very special occasion. This event has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of Valextra, Christie’s, Deutsche Bank and Charity Stars.”

Speaking about the objectives of the event, Moratti continued: “Tonight will give us the chance to help children in the Cambodian village of Roong. Initiatives like this one will enable them to study and play sports. That they are able to do those things is testament to the hard work Missione Possibile put in every single day. I want to say a special thank you to Gerry Testori, who oversees the project and is a vitally important person.”
