BUENOS AIRES – During a recent visit to Buenos Aires, Inter Campus president Massimo Moretti met officials from the PUPI Foundation and the Padre Mario Association, who collaborate with Inter’s humanitarian project to help needy children in the disadvantaged suburbs of the Argentine capital.
“This simple gesture of receiving the official Inter kit makes the child feel part of something great, and less alone in the world,” Moretti told the ANSA news agency. “In exchange, we ask them to go to school.”
Fourteen children will be selected to take part in an Inter Campus World Cup that will take place in Italy in September. “They won’t be selected on footballing merit,” explained Moretti. “Those with difficult family situations will be rewarded.”
