In our latest Instagram interview, the Vice President introduced proceedings before giving the floor to Paula and Juan de la Fuente, heads of the Fundación PUPI, partner of Inter Campus Argentina

MILAN – Inter Campus’ virtual journey to projects around the world continues: the last stop was Argentina. Our partner there is the Fundación PUPI which, together with its Italian namesake, welcomes and helps hundreds of children in need. Paula and Juan de la Fuente are dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic and they work from Milan and Buenos Aires respectively.

We spoke to them virtually in our last Instagram event on Monday. There was even an incredible surprise at the start of the live stream as Zanetti tuned in alongside Paula! He wanted to greet the many fans who follow us as well as express his support for Inter Campus’ excellent work:

“It’s a wonderful, extraordinary project that started more than 20 years ago and which gives everything and more to so many children around the world. Inter’s shirt can be seen far and wide thanks to Inter Campus, and thanks to this social project. Because that’s what Inter is all about, these values are part of its DNA: always thinking about the people who need it most, especially children.”

These few words perfectly express our shared philosophy: responsibility towards helping less fortunate children who, despite the difficult circumstances in which they often find themselves, can play football wearing a Nerazzurri shirt.

The chat then continued with Paula, who stressed the importance of the many girls that are always playing, enthusiastic and determined like their male peers. Finally, it passed over to Juan who shared the Fundación’s many projects: from the complementary education centre, to football and swimming, to English language courses, as well as meals, activities with parents and activities to combat addictions. At the moment, everything is on standby, but they’re ready to restart as soon as possible.

These Instagram chats are a way to feel close whilst we can’t physically travel. They’re also an opportunity for our many fans to learn about Inter Campus’ stories from those who experience them first-hand every single day.
