Inter Campus hosts Monza Hospital Patients

MILAN – Inter Campus and the Comitato Maria Letizia Verga Association once again teamed up on Sunday morning to bring some happiness into the lives of young leukaemia patients from the children’s cancer ward of Monza hospital.

The boys and girls were invited to the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti for a morning’s training on the football field. The group included some youngsters in long-term remission, as well as some who had only finished their cycles of chemotherapy a few weeks previously.

While the visitors from Monza hospital were being put through their paces, the Inter Pulcini and U15 sides were involved in league action on the other pitches: though the objectives might be a little different, both groups showed the same desire to get the job done!
