MILAN – Inter Campus’ work continues in Buenos Aires with a refresher course for the local educators and a visit to check the progress of the project which helps children in the Argentine capital. Coaches Gabriele Raspelli and Lorenzo Forneris, along with lead coach Aldo Montinaro, went straight to work in Buenos Aires. Upon arrival the trio visited two Inter Campus Argentina centres, where the project is run in partnership with the Pupi Foundation and Father Mario’s Obra, both organisations which help children in need.

Father Mario’s Obra are currently doing great work helping youngsters in the La Matanza district, improving the lives of children from tough backgrounds and school kids, not only through sport but also education in their centres. The Pupi foundation – set up by captain Javier Zanetti and his wife Paola – has also been doing sterling work both in sport and education for many years.

Training sessions for the kids involved in the Pupi Foundation are run every Tuesday and Thursday at the ground owned by former Inter star Matias Almeyda. On behalf of Inter we’d like to thank Matias, as well as Martin Acuna, the head of the Buenos Aires Football Association and the mayor of Tigre, Sergio Massa, for having provided transport for the children of Benavidez.
