MILAN – From 16-25 February 2010 Inter Campus coaches Alberto Giacomini and Roberto Picardi, accompanied by Africa Projects responsible Massimo Seregni, held a training course in the poorest and most isolated part of Cameroon – for the first time since the project was set up ten years ago.

After a 22-hour journey north from Yaounde (sixteen by train and six by car), they arrived at the Maison des Jeunes in Garoua, close to the border with Chad, where sixty local coaches were taught about the various phases of training sessions for 10-12-year-olds.

Inter Campus wishes to thank Garoua-based football club CotonSport, who generously made available their grass pitches for the training sessions and laid on transport in accordance with the local department of sport.
